My path to becoming a counselor has always been rooted in the belief that healing is possible and that every person deserves the opportunity to reconnect with their sense of peace and autonomy.
I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University and am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Education at Maine College of Art & Design, class of 2027. My work as a counselor is rooted in compassion and curiosity, with a deep commitment to creating spaces where people feel safe enough to explore their inner world and begin the process of healing.
I also founded Reclaiming Peace, a nonprofit currently in its foundational stages, with the hope of expanding access to holistic trauma-informed care and psycho-education. My vision is to help foster deeper community connection and create spaces where individuals can come together to learn, heal, and support one another on a larger scale.
Outside of counseling, I find a lot of grounding and joy in nature and creativity. Much of my free time is spent with my sons, whose curiosity and joy remind me every day of the importance of slowing down, being present, and making space for play. Together we love hiking, creating art, and caring for the land and animals on our small farm in Midcoast Maine.

XO, Maddie
