A Trauma-Informed Mindfulness & Support Group for Adults
Current Offerings
Thursdays | 6:00–7:30pm | June 4 – July 9, 2026
(Skipping June 25) | In Person at the Appleton Library
Format: Open group, limited to 6–8 adults, 6 weeks
Length: 90-minute sessions
This group is designed for individuals seeking greater steadiness and resilience during times of stress, change, or uncertainty. Through mindfulness practices, somatic awareness, gentle reflection, psychoeducation, and supportive discussion, participants will learn practical tools to regulate the nervous system, increase emotional awareness, and cultivate greater presence in daily life.
Participants are also invited to engage in journaling and optional creative exploration as a way to deepen reflection and support personal growth throughout the group process.
Growth is not only learning to tolerate uncertainty. Growth is expanding our capacity to remain present with life as it unfolds, allowing ourselves to hold both the unknown and the possibility that something even better than we imagined may emerge.
Pre-screening is required prior to enrollment to help ensure group readiness and appropriateness for the group setting.
